Hello, I’m Donald Funkhouser, a REALTOR® in North Potomac, MD. I’m part of the GCAAR and NAR, indicating my dedication to real estate and desire to help others make the most of their experiences. Before I started in the industry, I got two degrees: a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Structural Engineering. I received both from the University of Maryland and am a state native. Those experiences show that I know not only Maryland but also have experience regarding buildings and construction, and I can apply that knowledge to help you.

Before I joined the real estate field, I spent more than 45 years working with land development and various building structures, including residential, commercial, and government. Such knowledge allows me to recognize the best aspects of buildings. Because I developed and can apply this knowledge, it is no surprise that I’m now working in real estate.
